About the Gorge
Fenglin Gorge is one of the five parks of Yuntaishan UNESCO Global Geopark and a national water conservancy scenic area, covering 50 sq km. It is a mountain scenic area blending the charms of both northern and southern landscapes — high gorges, calm lakes, towering peak forests and lush vegetation.
Emerald Lake, embraced by surrounding peaks, is clear and azure like a huge emerald set among the mountains, earning the title "Yuntai Tianchi" (Sky Pool of Yuntai). Cruise around the lake or take the cableway for aerial views — landscape and leisure merge, nature and romance coexist, and every step is a picture.
