Parent-Child Travel Safety Notes

Safety first — have fun and stay reassured

Macaque Safety

Do not let children approach monkeys alone, and never feed them. Mother monkeys are protective and can be aggressive — keep a distance of at least 2 meters.

Water Play Safety

Water play at Tanpu Gorge must be supervised by a parent; avoid deep water. Slippery rocks cause falls — wear anti-slip shoes.

Mountain Safety

Mountaineering routes like Zhuyu Peak are not recommended for children under 6. Kids under 8 must hold a parent's hand throughout the Glass Walkway.

Sun & Heat Protection

Strong UV in summer — bring sunscreen and a sun hat. Avoid outdoor activities from 12:00 to 14:00.

Food Hygiene

Dining options inside the scenic area are limited; bring your own snacks and dry food. Watch for children's food allergies.

Lost Child Response

Dress children in bright colors and put a contact card in their pocket. Use the service desk broadcast to find a lost child, or call 110.
