It is recommended to arrive at the entrance before 8 a.m. to avoid peak crowds. Enter by swiping your ID card, then take the scenic shuttle bus to the first attraction.
Visit Red Stone Gorge, the most essential highlight of Yuntaishan, allowing about 2-3 hours. If you have average stamina, take the elevator at the exit to return.
There are several restaurants and snack stalls in the scenic area at moderate prices. The Anshang Service Area offers the most choices; pick according to your needs.
Visit Pool & Waterfall Gorge, known as the "Little Jiuzhaigou", about 2 km in total, with babbling springs—cool and pleasant.
You may visit Macaque Valley, or take the cable car up to Dogwood Peak. If time permits, we recommend staying overnight in the scenic area and continuing your visit the next day.
